Welcome to the Mark Eichberger Strong Page
If you are visiting this page I am sure that you knew of my uncle Mark in some form or fashion. If you did not know Mark he was an amazing man who ended up losing his battle with cancer this past April. He fought like hell till the very last day and as Stuart Scott once said “When you die, it does not mean you lose to cancer, you beat cancer by how you live, why you live and in the manner in which you live.” This quote perfectly describes how Mark lived his life! There was never a dull moment when Mark was around and you never saw Mark and he wasn’t laughing or smiling.
Mark was a Louisville Construction Legend and helped build Whittenberg into one of the great construction company’s in the area. He had a passion for his work but he never let that get in the way of his love for traveling, golf, UL sports and especially family time with his wife Phyllis and daughter Jessi.
As some of you know I am not the biggest cyclist, but I decided that I wanted to do something to help fight this horrible disease in honor of Mark, my grandpa Bill, and papaw Harold. With the help and encouragement of my Trilogy family I be joining our team and hundreds of others to beat cancer by participating in the Bike to Beat Cancer, a one day cycling event to benefit Norton Cancer Institute. I want to make a difference for my family and the thousands of people in my community touched by cancer. The funds I raise will stay right here, helping with prevention, early detection, research and treatment for this nasty disease.
Please support my efforts to build hope and beat cancer! It doesn’t matter if its just a $1 or $100! Every penny counts! Thank you in advance for your help and support to Beat Cancer!
