Spinning the Wheels off Cancer
I'm joining hundreds of others to beat cancer by participating in the Bike to Beat Cancer, a one day cycling event to benefit Norton Cancer Institute. I want to make a difference for the thousands of people in my community touched by cancer. The funds I raise will stay right here, helping with prevention, early detection, research and treatment for this disease.
Having seen many friends and family that have battled cancer want to do something to help end this suffering. While one person riding a bike may not be life changing the power of taking action in numbers is. Last year 800 riders raised over $400,000. That coupled with events across the nation makes a impact on many lives. The money raised is used for research and also patient assitance.
Last year my friends and family raised almost 800 dollars for this great cause. I am getting started earlier this year in the fundraising efforts. Because you all pushed my fundraising over the threshold I rode the century (100 Mile) ride last year. I plan to do that again for 2018. Also I would like to challenge any of my friends that ride or who are thinking of getting started to ride this event with me. Even if you are just getting started we can get you ready for a 100-mile ride in plenty of time for this wonderful inspiring event. Come experience the feeling of giving back and truly being treated like a rock star while you do it.
Please support my efforts to build hope and beat cancer! Thank you in advance for your help.
