Welcome to my personal page for the Bike to Beat Cancer 2015
To all my supporters,
For the past 6 years, since its inception, I have participated in the Norton Cancer Institute's fund raising event. Back in the beginning, I have to admit, I was agreeing to raise $2,500 and ride 150 miles and was nervous as HE!!. I quickly came up with an idea of how to raise some money with hopes it would come close to $2,500. I engaged Kirsten, my parents, parents friends, coworkers, friends and friends of friends...and guess what? Year one, the 1st annual gold scramble net over $6,000. Here we are now in the 7th year. Yes, we've had fun playing golf...even us that aren't good. Yes, it's been great recruiting several riders including my wife, kids, parents, sister and niece and nephew...but, it is the ~$35,000 raised that is most rewarding.
For 6 years, many of you have been supporting a great cause. Some of you had joined the team to ride. And some of you have joined the volunteer team that helps me organize the event. It's year 7, and I ask that you blow the past 6 years out of the water with your support. Either Golf, Ride, Donate or Volunteer...and you support the initiative.
...reach out to me so we can make year 7 the best yet!
