Riding the good fight
Those of you who know me, know that I enjoy cycling. I have had many opportunities to help others learn more about cycling and the joys it can bring. This year I am riding again for Team Andiamo to help raise money for the Norton Cancer Institute. This year is the first year that our trusty ride captain, Warren Mounts, won't be joining us on two wheels, but will be there with us in spirit. Warren lost his battle against cancer eariler this year. Everyone who knows Warren, knows what a great man cancer has taken from us. Please help support Team Andiamo so we can continue Warren's legacy and honor him by supporting something he was very passionate about, cycling and beating cancer!
Not only am I riding for Warren but I'm also riding to make a difference for my family and friends that have battled cancer, for those who have survived and those that cancer has stolen from us. I will be riding for family members Frances Tate (great-grandma), Sally Roberston (aunt), Rex Boyd (grandpa), and Barb LaHood (mother-in-law) and all my other friends and family affected by cancer. For anyone else you would like me to ride for, let me know and I will add them to my name plate for the people I am riding for.
Please support my efforts to help find a cure for cancer with your generous donation and help honor Warren Mounts.
I'm putting up $500, please take the challenge and help me reach my goal. We want to make this an extra special year for Warren.
