Welcome to my personal page for the Bike to Beat Cancer 2017
*UPDATE* Sadly, David lost his fight with cholangiocarcinoma on August 13, 2017. I continue to believe in the compassionate care he received through the Norton Cancer Institute during this time.*
For the past 3 years, I have supported the Bike to Beat Cancer. After having a spinal fusion last year and being unable to ride, I am committed to participating in the 35 mile ride this year!
For a little over 2 years, my husband has been fighting stage 4 cholangiocarcinoma with the help of the Norton Cancer Institute. I can't say enough about the compassionate care he has received over this time period. Anyone wanting to show support for David is encouraged to make a contribution on his behalf. Your support would be appreciated. We have been blessed with excellent health insurance which has covered the majority of his expenses, but others are not near as fortunate. I have chosen to designate the funds that I raise this year to be used to help patients who are struggling financially to afford their treatment. Your donations will be used directly in this area. If you would like to join me as I ride in honor of David, I would love to have you!
Please support my efforts to build hope and beat cancer! Thank you in advance for your help.
