Welcome to my personal page for the Bike to Beat Cancer 2019
Once Again I have accepted the challenge to ride 100 miles in the 2019 Bike to Beat Cancer, on September 14, 2019, and raise funds to support the Norton Cancer Institute. Cancer has touched all of our lives in one way or another and especially mine. I'm riding in Memory of my Dad, Jim Fisher Sr. He was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer April of 2017 and fought a very tough fight and lost 11/7/2019. He received Radiation Treatments at the Norton Cancer Institute. This year my Dad's brother was also diagnosed with Cancer, My Uncle Harold "Ed" Fisher. I'll be riding in support of his fight Cancer. I'm also still riding in the memory of my UAW Brother & Friend, Rick Thomas. Rick battled Colon Cancer for nearly 2 years and lost on May 6, 2013. He is why i got started raising money to fight cancer. Since then we have raised well over $30,000 and the number keeps climbing.
I'm participating in the Bike to Beat Cancer, a one day 100 Mile cycling event to benefit Norton Cancer Institute. I want to make a difference for the thousands of people in my community touched by cancer. The funds I raise will stay right here, helping with prevention, early detection and treatment for this disease.
I appreciate your support. This is will be my 7th ride in the Bike to Beat Cancer, You have helped us raise over $30,000, to fight against Cancer. Please support my efforts to build hope and beat cancer! Thank you in advance for your support.
